HoneyRock | Two Harbors, MN

On the North Shore of Minnesota, on Lake Superior, there is a place with unprecedented beauty…HoneyRock. Located just north of Two Harbors and south of Beaver Bay, on the bike trail and within sight of Split Rock Lighthouse. The building site was started in the 1930’s, and the main house, with its panoramic view of the lake and shoreline, was built in the 1970’s.

Features

Today, the main house has been remodeled with four bedrooms downstairs. Each bedroom has either a king or queen size bed, a gas (remote controlled) fireplace, a full bathroom and a private patio with an unsurpassed view of Lake Superior. The upstairs has one bedroom with a private bath and the rest of this level is a common area shared by all the guests. The upstairs boasts a huge fireplace in the center of the room with a panoramic view of Lake Superior.

Because the house is octagon shaped and windows encircle the entire house (both upstairs and down), there is not a place without a view to the magnificent outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans and all utensils. On the other side of the kitchen is a large counter with four bar stools (all made out of a bowling alley floor). The living room is one large area, with tables, a piano, couches and chairs all with a perfect view of Lake Superior.

The location of HoneyRock is just perfect to fully enjoy the sunrise (and the moon rise) in the east and the sunset in the west. If the Northern Lights are out, the best view in all of Minnesota is right from the deck that fully encircles the house.

HoneyRock is a unique place to fully experience the beauty of God's creation, and awaits those who need their souls to be refreshed and rejuvenated with the sounds, sights and feel of the best that the North Shore has to offer. We invite small groups to come and stay at HoneyRock. The ideal group size would be anywhere from 8-12 (adults only please).

Rates

Weekly November thru April: $2,550

Weekly May thru October and holidays: $2,990

Nightly: $500 (for 3 or more nights) or $590 (for minimum 2 night stays).

Nightly Holidays: $590 (3 night minimum stay required).

Grandma's Marathon: $590 / night, 3 night minimum stay required.

All prices listed are based on up to a 12 person capacity. Additional persons are charged $35/night. HoneyRock has a maximum capacity of 14 persons.

Payment Due: 3 weeks prior to stay.

Deposit/Cancellation Policy

• A credit card number is needed to book a reservation and the person making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age. Guests are responsible for any damages and/or excess cleaning, other than normal wear and tear, as a result of their occupancy. Get Outta Town, LLC, reserves the right to charge the renter's credit card for any damages or excess cleaning necessary, as permitted by state statute.
• A deposit of $500 by credit card is due at the time of booking and guarantees that this property is reserved for you.
• The $500 deposit will be applied to the remaining balance of your rental, which is due 3 weeks prior to your arrival.
• Once you have placed a reservation, any cancellation will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
• A 21 day cancellation policy is in effect. If you cancel your reservation 21 days or more in advance of your arrival date, $425 of the deposit will be refunded.
• If your reservation is cancelled fewer than 21 days in advance of your arrival date, no refunds will be made unless the property is re-rented. If the property is re-rented, all monies shall be refunded, minus the $75 cancellation fee.

Damage Policy

If we identify damage to the property upon your departure or if excess cleaning is necessary, your credit card will immediately be charged for any excess damage or cleaning fees over the deposit amount for the estimated cost of repair, replacement, and cleaning. If there is no damage, your credit card will be credited back the full deposit.
